Chinese Herbology

Chinese Herbology is the traditional Chinese herbal therapy, which includes most of the treatment of various kinds of diseases in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Researchers have shown that effectiveness of traditional Chinese herbal therapy is of poor quality with little or no rigorous sign of effectiveness. For centuries, Chinese herbs have been using in one way or the other to cure illness.

Chinese herbal extracts are herbal decoctions which have been compressed into a granular/powder form. Herbal extracts are easier and more convenient for patients to use. If we look at the industry extraction standard which is in the ratio 5:1 that means for every five pounds of raw materials one pound of herbal extract is obtained.
